What do you mean 'channel them to my scanner'? Do you mean that you need help in uploading to the scanner? Are you using Win96 or ARC96? Do you already have a USB-serial connection between the scanner and PC (since most newer PCs have no serial ports)? Are you trying to program Fleetnet - and if you are, did you follow these instructions (from our wiki - note that here, and in the wiki, anything in blue is a link)...

Programming your Pro-96/2096 for Fleetnet - The RadioReference Wiki

More information, please...73 Mike

It's the OP's first post and with premium subscription the question may be "how to load from database to scanner".

paddyo, if that is the issue, you will need software and a programming cable. Win96 from Software for RadioShack PRO-series (PRO-92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 99, 163, 164, 106, 197) and GRE PSR-series (PSR-500, 600, 300, 400) scanners is the best software and use cable 20-047 from RadioShack.com This cable should be in your local RS store on the Michigan side.

I can find the freq i want and i have the proper cable ti upload them into the scanner but when i do not a lot happens because i dont knoe how to deal with the above?

Tks again for taking the time to repond

that is asking which of the 10 banks you want to put the freqs in & which channel to start on & which talk groups you want to put in that bank ( limit per bank is 150 in 5 subgroups of 30 each.
if you need a manual send me a PM with email & can send you a PDF copy.

paddyo, I realize you are new but you need to give us more info. Are you using software, if so, which software?

If Win96, view this image. The two Sault frequencies are upper left and the 149 talkgroups are on right side. You can click the bullets in:
0 (currently checked).
1
2
3
4
to view other talkgroups which are 30 per sub-bank 0 through 4.

I've also opened the Extended Trunking Tables dialog for viewing.

Looking at fmon's attached image select 3600 CC VHF for Fleetnet Standard Plan and also band plans #00 ,01,02
You can put as many towers in one bank as you wish, be sure to separate each control channel with an FM mode freq. in the channel prior to you control channels.
I do this for three towers on Fleetnet.
I hand programmed my 2096.
