Default Hello All

this seemed like the most appropriate section for a hello thread i guess

anyway I've been in to the hobby for a long time actually just never had my own scanner(was always something else i wanted more lol)

as a friend of mine was cleaning out his rented room cuz he was moving he hands me this radio shack pro-94 and says "want this?"(ofc i said yes)
been having some fun with it today when i finally got around to playing with the buttons

so i found this site through google and decided to register for the forums

enough of my babbling and hello everyone lol

Hello & welcome to RR, you are very lucky to have a friend like that. If you need assistance programming your new toy, check out the RR WIKI or just ask for assistance on the forum & someone will reply & assist you in short order, again, welcome & take care.

Welcome to RR.com, Nubz. You have come to the right place and I am impressed that you are doing your homework before diving right into things. You are going to have some questions and the folks here are ready, willing and very able to answer them.

One thing you can do in the mean time is return to your User CP (the left side of the second blue bar from the top of any page if you are logged in) and edit your profile to include your location (city and state) as you were requested to do in the material e-mailed to you when you registered. Once you fill in your location it will automatically show in each of your posts. Many of the questions you will have, and their answers, are going to be location specific and without having your location showing you will be asked over and over again what it is. So fill it in now and be done with it.
