Terry, Check these three sites, the first two are sales outlets & the third gives reviews of that model, I hope this helps, take care.

Apparently it Doesn't meet the RoHS - Home standards. I don't know if the company building the radio will update the standards or just not produce it any longer.

HTH,

Since you are not looking at a trunktracking receiver, the features on the 230e look very attractive.
It looks to sell in the 100 Pound Sterling range.

Are you looking for a general coverage scanner or something for the air band?

Hi All
Thanks for getting back to me!!

mciupa......Not going there (trucking), Just simple airband!! Thanks my friend.

DaveIN.....Not worried about anything else really, just Airband. I live in North London and there are quite a few airfields and Heathrow is about 20 miles away, and can already get them on a crapy radio!!
So its just Airband really. Dont want to be left holding an old radio though, something newish.....

Then if you can't find a 7300, you may want to look at the UBC3500XLT UBC3500XLT - The RadioReference Wiki
