Default Motorola XTS 1500

I reside in Texas, Miliam county / For lack of IQ , I drove to Houston,Texas Harris county and bought thru Craig s List a
Motorola XTS 1500 non digital with two battery's . Yes, it is programed for Harris county.
questions (1) can I buy a manual,software and cable to fix this as a police, fire scanner without a trip to the credit union?

Have you considered posting a query on the Texas forums to get someone around you to program it for you? The software is going to cost you $300-$400 dollars, not really a good thing to spend money on for one radio. Some people here will program radios for you if you pay shipping both ways, just ask.

First, a warm welcome to Radioreference where we may not always agree with each other but we stick together for the furtherance of the hobby & with that having been said, here are two sites for your owners manual, service manual, software & programming cables, follow Wyandottes advice about querying the Texas forum for answers, also without crossposting you could also check out the Motorola forum.
