Radio shack pro 95

I'm new to scanning - just purchased a pro 95 witch I know it can only scan in analog mode. I live in Simi Valley, California and want to listen to PD
I understand the local police dept. is now digital AP25, is there any type of modification I can do to my scanner to listen in ????

No - you must purchase a P25 capable scanner.

Welcome to RadioReference.com. The PRO-95 is a great scanner, but it is quickly becoming outdated. Digital, P25, and rebanded Motorola systems are 3 of the issues that make it less useful than it used to be.

Having said that, unless your interest is only in that one agency, there is a lot of stuff you can still monitor in that area.
