what scanner do i need to receive springfield ohio police freqs???

It looks to me that you could use any scanner out on the market today for your county (clark) you dont have a trunk sytem to deal with or p25 digital.UNLESS YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO O.S.P. Then you need a digital scanner like a GRE 500/ 600. RS PRO 106 /197 .SOME UNIDEN NOT SURE ON UNIDEN MODEL #'S. Its all in what you want to spend.

It appears that Springfield uses Edac's Provoice. Springfield Trunking System, Springfield, Ohio - Scanner Frequencies

At this time I dont believe there is a scanner out there that will monitor Provoice.
