After making a "basic" mistake... I have programmed my Pro164 - and know what groups I am listening to.. Hear is what I did wrong...

1. Had it set to FM not MO
2. Tried programming the 800 in Bank 0 (zero)

Now all I need to figure out is the Alpha tags to mark the talkgroups.....

I'd like to thank the people on here for helping me...This is truly a great site!

Thank you

Sounds like you are programming a MOT trunked radio system. Not only do you need to set each individual frequency to MO, but you also need to set the bank to MO.

There is NO issue with doing that. I have a 800 MHz MOT type system programmed in my bank zeroes.

Use software, it is much easier. You need to program TGs into each bank that you have a TRS programmed, unless you're running the bank in open mode. If programming by hand, press FUNC T in the bank to access the TG editor/viewer.
