Default help programming trunk systems

Hello, I have a BC796D that I had put away in the closet some time ago. I never had the time to figure out programing for trunk systems. I have some time now and what to learn how to program it. I read the manual and it's kind of confusing. Is there a web site that better explains how to program a BC796D and trunk systems in general. Thanks for the help.

With all due respect to gr8rcall for the links - the BC796 is NOT a DMA scanner, so please don't read this one:

Dynamic Memory Architecture - The RadioReference Wiki
This is a Description of how your scanner processes programming

or it will drive you to put the radio back in the closet! :-) It's for the newer BCD796XLT and BCD396XLT.
