Hello gents!
I am a new guy. Yep, the guy that knows little but has a big vision for his comms gear. I am very active with the Civil Air Patrol in the SAR arena. Many of you are acquainted with CAP I'm sure. I am having some compatibility issues. My portable set up is as follows.
EF Johnson 51SL
Peltor FL5018-02 Radio Adapter - XTS
Peltor COMTAC II (or III, not sure which)
Problem is this. The 51SL works perfect and the COMTAC works perfect. Throw the PTT into the mix and while I can hear Rx clearly, I can only Tx static. It simply sounds like someone is pushing the PTT without saying anything and releasing.
I don't now anything about these beyond plug it on and turn it on etc. I would really appreciate yalls help!
