PRO-106 Philadelphia Police

Hello,
I have a radio shack pro-106. When Philly Police switched to the new system I tried to reprogram it and erased everything. Is there a simple way to reprogram it? I don't have the USB cable to connect to my computer.

If you just relied on what initially came programmed with the scanner, you can reinitialize it from the factory default (p.99 of manual).

If you do programming of your own, and to prevent a mishap in the field from totally messing up a working setup, make a backup into a v-folder. (p.74/75/76) Then if you mess things up and want to go back to say yesterday's programming, you can reload a v-folder and be back in business.

I *love* the v-folder feature of the Pro106 for backups.
