I am a new member, and I need to know if I need a cd to program my pro-197

You can download a thirty day free trial of Win500 at this link:

No CD, just need a USB programming cable. Don't know if they still sell them at Radio Shack.

I would call before you go to the store to make sure they have one in stock.
