does my radioshack pro-528 work still

hi im new to scanning and bought an old Pro-528 does it still work cant really pick up anything any help? anything I have to do?

It should receive analog/conventional ok, but if your area is trunked (it does not support rebanded trunked systems) or digital you are out of luck.

Click on the databases tab at the top of the page and locate your area to see what systems are in use. What have you programmed into it so far?

so I really don't have anything programed just tried scanning and picked up a few people talking did not want to put to much time in if it would not work anyway so you think these will work or is it digital Calhoun County, Michigan (MI) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

It could still pick up aircraft, Amateur radio, marine, frs/gmrs and some business as well as murs too.
