new to scanner question

I just bought my first scanner ,a uniden bc125at. I have programed in some channels ( frequencies) and they automaticly store in bank 1, is this right ? I cant get any frequencies to program into any other banks.
if this is not the place i should be asking this type of question I apologize , thanks for any help you can offer

I just tried it on mine and it went to channel 7 (1st available channel in bank 1). To change that, all you do is turn the top knob clockwise to click through the channels. Note that scanner has 10 banks of 50 channels. Bank one contains channels 1-50, bank 2 is channels 51-100 and so on. If you look on the bottom of the screen as you are scrolling through the channels, the bank will change from 1-2 when you go from channel 50 to 51.

There are a few videos on youtube that may help you.I watched them and it made programming the BC125AT alot easier.
