Phase 2 Upgrades?

Without having to search every possible posting in every possible thread on these forums, how does one find out, if your agency is not presently Phase 2, but if they have any plans on changing to Phase 2 anytime soon?

I’m referring specifically to Los Angeles Police Department.

Have you tried asking in the California state forum under the correct sub forum? Those are usually the ones in the know.

LAPD is P25 phase 1 conventional, from what I've been reading they are building a New system called LA-RICS, this system is going to be phase 2. It's currently under construction and you can hear some testing.
