Uniden BCD436HP

Hi, I'm new here. I bought the new Uniden BCD436HP since it's supposed to pick up your location.
I'm in St. Louis & I enter my zip code and I'm getting a few ambulance channels & no police.
I have read how to add frequencies but that's not why I bought this scanner. Shouldn't I be getting local police? I do have those groups on, also.

You may want to confirm the Service Types you wish to monitor have been set to on. (Menu>Select Service Types).
