I am programming my scanner with the SD County RCS and San Diego City 800. The RCS Channels are fine, very good reception etc. Radio Reference mentions a SPLINTER Bandplan.

The first frequency is 856.025, I have tried 856.0375, 856.0125, and 856.025. The reception is very poor, low volume, lots of static etc. What Trunk frequencies do I need to program to listen to SDFD and SDPD?

THESE 20 FREQUENCIES FOR San Diego 800 system. Does you scanner have a signal strength indicator. This should show you the control channels, Also in setting up the system, did you say the system type was 800 mhz splinter. Assuming you have the 20 frequencies set for control channel, not sure how far you are from a tower that supports san diego. May have to workl on your antenna. You may want to post a request in the california forums, there is sub forum for san diego. I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.
