Rome PD has put out a missing persons alert for a 13 year old run away.

"ROME, NY - Rome police are searching for a missing girl who is believed to have run away from her residence.
Rachel T. Sargeant, 13 years old, was last seen on May 19, 2015 at approximately 6:30 a.m. leaving her home on South James Street in Rome for school.
Rachel was wearing a blue sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a neon pink backpack."
