"The subject has been identified as Steven P. Parker, 52, of that residence. As a result of a bulletin that was dispatched to local law enforcement, a vehicle believed to be related to the crime was stopped by West Carthage Police Officer David Pustizzi. The deceased’s son, Austin Parker, 17, was taken into custody and subsequently charged with murder in the 2nd degree relative to the homicide, which is believed to have occurred approximately a month ago."
