I would like to find out what CH 6 & 7 are in the EC Sheriff cars.

Other than that, many southern Erie County fire companies are applying for UHF & VHF channels.
I have not heard about a formulated plan to coordinate communications. I can not believe the dispatch
centers will want to handle a different channel for each dept. In some cases the Centers are not equiped or staffed for this.

I also understand the Sheriffs Dept was suppose to be digital by now. Big suprise.

The individual channels probably will not be available at the dispatch centers. They are local fireground and operations channels, not dispatch.

Yes, they are additional channels in the cars. Dispatch said they did not have access to the channels. Cars have been moved to these channels and then the car asked if dispatch copied no was the response.
