Where did the NYC Sanitation frequencies move to? I hear a different agency on 453.625, did they go digital? I know they were in the testing
process a few months ago, lost track of it.

Will I still be able to listen to it on my bc346xt?

From www.N2nov.net

F2 QUEENS 453.625 / 114.8

F4 BROOKLYN 453.725 / 114.8

Disregard my previous post. I did some research on here and I found the new frequencies, I put in all of them instead of just the control channels. It is in scan mode and I don't hear anything, what did I miss? I read on here that some people put in all of the frequencies and it worked for them. I have a BC346XT. Thanks

Make sure you set up. your Band Plan, it needs the following

Base: 482.000
Step Size: 6.25
Offset: 380

Otherwise you should be able to hear them coming in, they are not THAT busy, but you should be able to hear something.

Ok, thanks guys. It asks me first to put in the lower input and then for the upper input on the base frequency
482.000...put in the same frequency for both? The step size and the offset I put in what you told me to. Even though it's not an active system at night I don't think I set it up correctly.

When I go to edit band plan it gives me 6 band plans to select from. Does it matter which one I choose?

I'm not too sure on the 346XT, but on my BCT15 I use Custom Band Plan with 482.000/6.25/380.

I don't think you need to enter "lower" or "upper" frequency, at least in all other non-800 trunked systems I never have to enter such information, just a custom bandplan and it should do fine.

From the Uniden programming webpages:
CalculatingUpperBaseFrequencies < UnidenMan4 < TWiki

Spreadsheet for doing the calculation:
http://info.uniden.com/twiki/pub/Uni...Calculator.xls

The formula in the spreadsheet gives the answer as 484.36875 for the upper freq only.

Well I tried all of that and I still hear nothing, I will try to program it via the Uniden USB cable sometime next week. Everybody tells me that it is a lot easier to program the radio that way then by hand.
