Hi

I am Looking Freqs for The Following Fire Departments

Ronkonkoma
Stony Brook

I have Searched Google, Fordyce.org & Radioreference.com as well as The FCC Database
they show Exactly the same Freqs. but I have never heard a peep from either Departments on any of these Freqs.
I Live in Centereach so both Departments are very close to me if they are transmitting on the freqs listed below. I should be able to pick them up!

Any help would be appreciated!

Both freqs are confirmed and currently working.

Not all frequencies licensed to a dept are operational. The 482's for SBFD may be for future use and the equipment has yet to be set-up. The 458's suggest simplex or low power fire ground or cross band repeaters. The 453's might be the same. If you can, try to monitor the channels they are known to use, if you think something is being left out from normal comms, then they are using other channels for their routine comms. Also, I think Fordyce is no longer being up-dated.

most are car repeaters or port's they used .... stonybrook is used as a cross band repeater to 46.40 .....
as of 2 + years ago !
