Talkgroups from 14-021 to 14-027 have been used on a temporary basis by NYSP for special events like PGA golf tours, etc.

Thanks Charley. I am aware that has been the usage to date. Now the transmissions are appearing on 14-022 and they appear to be a municipal police department. Only have received a few transmissions, but they refer to the Mayor, and seemingly to another entity, the county police department.

Based upon the few transmissions I am able to receive, it appears that it is the Lake Success PD. They are normally on the Nassau County TRS 04-07#. Do not know if they switched, cross band or testing on to the METRO 21 system. I believe the same radio shop maintains both systems. Interesting.

I heard a mention of Steamboat Road, so I thought it was Great Neck or Kings Point or Kensington. Definately heard them talking about Headquarters and closing roads.

If you try to manually listen to them (as conventional channels) do you hear a constant data (buzz like) sound on one of them?
