USS New york festivities

Anyone have anything to report in terms of Naval frequencies for the new ship that is in port through Veteran's Day? I was thinking of going to see it today. I know in the past, during fleet week some listeners found trunked systems on board many of the Naval vessels. Just curious if anyone had found the same for USS New York, or what they were using while they are here in NY? During Fleet Week I also remember a temporary repeater in the 140.XXXX area used for Security. I'll be looking for that too I guess if I make it to Pier 88.

Anyone have anything to add?

uss new york

the only freq i've been able to find so far is 139.3625 p25, signal is pretty strong here in hudson county area. this freq is being used for security.

I did make it over to visit the ship. I picked up 139.3625 and indeed its the navy ops for the uss new york. it is a repeater setup and nac "ABC" is being transmitted. cool ship by the way.

I forgot to mention that some of the personnel on board were carrying MA/COM portables which were using the onboard ship trunked edacs system, aka "HYDRA". All ship operations use this system.
Frequencies in use on LPD-21 were:
395.7875
397.4375
397.7875 - control ch
399.1875
399.3375
399.5875

External security forces were using the 139.3625 repeater.
