NYCOMCO has been rebanding a lot recently. Check out ecscanning to make sure you have the newest set of frequencies

I'm listening to Schunnemunk right now, coming in just fine. The current CC is 856.1125. If you're sure you're in range of the sites, make double sure you have them programmed correctly. There have been quite a few frequency/LCN changes recently, in addition to the rebanding change.

Schunnemunk
01 - 856.1125
02 - 859.0375
03 - 860.0375
04 - 857.1125
05 - 858.6375

Arden/Harriman
01 - 858.6125
02 - 857.6875
03 - 858.0625
04 - 856.5375

Well that kept me up to 4:30 AM

The frequencies you posted worked .

I can now hear the system again.

Can you submit them to the database so others with a home patrol can hear this system.

I thank you very much for your help in this matter.

You're welcome, glad to help.

With respect, anyone can submit database corrections, so why not do it yourself? No offense intended towards you, but I've been seeing quite a few posts lately from Home Patrol users complaining that "this and that is wrong or missing from the database", and it seems as if they are waiting for others to do the work for them. Please understand I'm making a very general statement, not suggesting you personally are in the same group as everyone else. However you did ask me to submit the changes, so I in turn ask you to take up the challenge, as a Home Patrol user, of doing your part to make sure the database is kept up to date. ;)

When the data from my old website is migrated, the NYCOMCO info should be correct at RRDB, but several volunteers are doing a lot of work on that project so it will take some time.

Your 'should now be' list is not correct. The first list is better with just two updates. 858.6375 is not inactive and at the moment is used on both Illinois and Schunnemunk. Makes no sense, but that is what NYCOMCO is doing. 859.8875 has been inactive for the past two or three weeks. The LCN's in the first list are correct (the 'was' list). I recommend programming all 14 channels for Illinois since any of the inactive frequencies could be brought back on line. It does no harm to keep the inactives in the line-up.

1- 854.4125
2- 860.8875
3- 858.0375
4- 860.1125
5- 860.7125 (inactive)
6 -859.1125

8- 856.1125 (inactive - reallocated to Schunnemunk)
9- 857.0375
10- 858.6375

12- 859.8875 (inactive)

No, absolutely not, the frequency/LCN info on your site is incredibly outdated and completely useless at this point.

Once again people, EastCoastScanning.com (ECS) is the source for all things Orange County, especially the NYCOMCO EDACS system. Those threads are updated weekly almost as soon as something changes. A few of us have been paying very close attention to the NYCOMCO system and have followed every recent change, of which there have been many, and have kept that listing very much up to date. When there is a difference between the RR database and ECS, always use the ECS list (and completely ignore Dave's website at this point.)

On second thought, maybe you should hold off on submitting anything related to this system, until you have a firmer grasp on how it works. I'll take care of the updates again when I get a chance.

mciupa if you're reading this thread, be on the lookout for another DB submission for the ever-changing NYCOMCO EDACS system.

ECS is giving priority to keeping their own site up to date. RRDB submissions are a secondary concern. I understand the reasons for that completely.

I will take the NYCOMCO page offline from my site this weekend so as to avoid confusing anyone. I will put a link to the appropriate location in RRDB (or is it the Wiki?) for the latest info.

NYCOMCO is playing with the frequencies, control channels, which sites are linked per talkgroup , etc. on a continual basis. Once the dust settles, I'll submit everything over to the RR database. But they are making daily changes at this time. I do update ECS continually to help others who are helping me track the changes.

I'm running Unitrunker on Beacon, Arden, Schunnemunk and Sams Point full-time and check Graham sporadically with Unitruker as well. For Illinois, pro92b has been my go to person as I cannot hear it from my location. I also have alot of LID updates to post on ECS. Again, I'll submit everything to RR once the final configurations are set in stone.

Eh, it's not that we're giving ECS priority over the RRDB, it's just that it's easier for us to edit the thread on the fly there, rather than submitting constant changes to the RRDB. e911's post details why.

e, I'll let you handle the submissions to RRDB. I submitted the last change back in late September, which is already out of date lol.
