State Police HQ - State Campus in Albany

This past summe, I was driving through the SUNY campus in Albany and stumbled upon the State Police building. First thing I noticed was the antenna farm on the roof and what looked like large HF antennas amoug some of the usual looking ones (microwave, UHF/VHF) etc.

What kind of comms would the SP be doing in HF? Emergency preparedness? Anyone inventory their antennas to determine what

Was going to snap a picture but didn't want to risk any trouble.

The HF stuff is SEMO's, they have a base of operations in the bomb shelter underneath SP Division HQ. Some of the other antennas are COMSEC's, which is located in the first floor of HQ, they dispatch Troop G Zone 1.

Actually, I believe COMSEC dispatches all zones in Troop G now.
