Is there away to pick which ones you want to recv. and which ones ya don't? Or are ya stuck with everything that comes with that file or download? Thanks,

There should be a "Lock Out" function on the scanner. This means you can "lock out" any channel that you don't want to listen to, but it still remains programmed in the scanner.

You can also "Delete" a channel which removes it completely from the memory banks. On some scanners, you just manually reprogram that channel to 000.000000.

Since very few of us have the manual for your scanner, it may be valuable for you to read that manual and learn about these features.
