Does anyone know of any towing company frequencies in rockland county? I've looked but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

There are specific allocations for "auto emergency" in the 150 and 157 MHz ranges. Towing companies can also be found on many different freqs in the 450/460 MHz range. They also often buy airtime on commercial trunking systems. Good luck hunting!

From ........ to ...... modulation.. spacing ........ use
150.8150 150.9650 NFM 15.000 Auto Emergency
157.4700 157.5150 NFM 15.000 Auto Emergency Radio Service

Here are some FCC searchs that bring up a bunch of towing companies within 40 miles of Spring Valley, NY.

and

The second one shows AAA North Jersey on 150.90500000 150.93500000 just across the state border from you. Should be lots of action on those freqs.

Also you need to remember that some licenses are in the owners names....along with the ones that share repeater service and dont need a license....

Most company's in Rockland aren't using radios anymore they have gone to Nextel or Verizon PTT. The only one I know is Antons Towing they are using the Goosetown UHF repeater system.
