Jefferson County Project 25 TRS

Both Jefferson County and the city of Waterville, have petitioned the FCC, to erect a Project 25 TRS. This countywide UHF digital radio project will include all public safety agencies, and should be completed within the next three years. In examining the license applications that have been submitted, this does appear that it will be a multi-site simulcast system. More information can be viewed at the FCC Web site:

I happen to have caught this the same day you posted it! I also see that Jefferson County also requested 3 countywide car to car channels - 2 low band and 1 high band.
