Hi,

I'm going on a 2 week vacation to see family in Albany. Can someone give me a list of the 2m and 70cm repeaters in and around Albany that are active? I will also be going to Sacandaga Lake, so if anyone knows frequencies for up there, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I remember seeing a linked system, but I can't find it on google.

Go to N2TY.org (the TARA site) and look for the amateur repeater list there.

Area repeaters

You won't have any problem finding usable repeaters in the Troy/Albany area...there's a bunch. One of the more popular ones is the Schenectady ARA machine on 147.060 with no PL. When you get to your upstate location, the Warren County club machine on 146.730 neg offset with 100.0 PL is one of your better bets.

Make sure you drop by 146.790 and say hi to my buddy Tony, W2BEJ. He is pretty much a star in these parts and is known far and wide for his friendly demeanor and quick wit.
