Hi, I have written three thrillers including ONCE A SPY (Doubleday, 2010) and am currently researching a fourth involving a reporter who often listens to police radio in New York City area.
I would appreciate any information or anecdotes about reporters or amateurs who listen to police radio anywhere, particularly how much time spent and what are the best hours.
Also, for my first chapter, I specifically need the dialogue where a dispatcher reports a theft of a stretch of fence (a good haul and the metal can be sold for up to $25K) on King Street in Armonk, New York—what would the code be? And how would the car respond?
Please feel to post here or email me at kqthomson@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Keith
