What ever happened to the NYPD Transit Division's move to UHF? I don't hear any activity on the channels that n2nov offered. Where did I go wrong? [Yea I know, when I thought I knew a thing or two!]

I don't think they are actively moving migrating toward UHF. None of the VHF repeaters in the tunnels have been upgraded/revamped.

There is a contract solicited for VHF narrowbanding for subway and police radios.

Last time I checked....the transit dispatcher was simulcast on the UHF frequency. Transit is usually pretty quiet anyway. All you will hear is the dispatcher side of the conversation as of now.
