FEMA and National Guard are using OEM OPS A in the flood zones of Brooklyn and Queens. NYC OEM units are instructed to use "OEM OPS Charlie". Any hits on that talk group? Also these comms are only on the UHF system, the OPS A talk group is silent on the 800 system.

OEM Ops talkgroups are used by boro IMT (Incident Management Team) to communicate with various survey teams comprised of national guard units who are using tablets w/gps tagging to upload results via wireless 4G to central servers. These tablets are having problems saving data to the servers for various reasons. The boro IMT units communicate with an overall command structure, which includes FDNY, on DOITT UHF TG 5600. All national guard survey teams also talk to their own TOC (Tactical Operations Command?) on the Metro21 TG 07-137. Metro21 TG 00-001 seems to be used for mobile supply units.

National Guard survey teams heard in each boro today are:
Staten Island - teams 2, 4, 6
Brooklyn - teams 3, 8
Rockaways - teams 1, 5
(unknown where team 7 is)

There are units called Motivator 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6 on Staten Island heard on the OEM Ops A TG 1856

FDNY Rapid Respond 2 (DOITT UHF TG 5472) is heard in the Rockaways
