Default Jefferson County - Questions

Has anyone heard any activity on some of these frequencies

155.145 - EMS/FIRE
453.825 - EMS/FIRE

Does Watertown PD have only one channel or multiple?
What if anything should I be able to hear of Fort Drum on the 380 MHZ system?

I now have a digital scanner. Just want to program new frequencies in.

Yes, there is activity on both 155.145 and 453.825. It's paging cross band only.

Watertown PD is using the one UHF P25 freq at this time. If you happen to hear them on something else please post so the rest of us can tune in!

And you won't hear much on the Fort Drum 380MHz system, unless they turned off the encryption. I stopped monitoring when the administrator encrypted all the good talkgroups :-(

I was thinking that if Watertown City Police updated to a new radio system they would have a car-car or a tactical frequency, then again it is Watertown. I will make sure to program those new Fire frequencies in. I progrramed Fort Drum into my scanner but Locked the channel so it doesn't scan. I have heard Fort Drum Fire unencypted from time to time but not for anything interesting. Thanks for the help.

Most counties in the area belong but are not active on the actual radio system. Jefferson,Lewis,St.Lawrence

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 6_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/536.26 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0 Mobile/10A523 Safari/8536.25)

The county sometimes has trouble getting into their own repeaters, I have heard that their are plans to join a P25 network next year, I can't if it's the multi-county one. I was also wondering why Watertown City Police sound so distorted, I almost can't hear them sometimes, I have received something P25 at another 453MHZ which I think might be Watertown. If anyone can help me with my distortion I would greatly appreciate it.
