New york state thruway authority

Syracuse New York area and Onondaga County. Is it me, or has the NYSTA State Police gone silent on 453.525 and 453.425?? If so, is there new frequencies?

I can no longer hear them from my home, but heard them today on my handheld only 7 miles closer to the T'Way.

Just to clarify my last reply. I heard the Thruway Authority, but didn't notice if it was an SP unit or maintenance unit.

I just tuned in to the Syracuse Division Thruway and the first thing I hear is the dispatcher calling 7303 for
a car off the road at 214 and 7303 responded. This was followed by a message from 7357.

It sounds like business as usual to me.

I am listening on 453.425 to the Clifton Springs tower but it should be the same traffic on 453.425/525 on
the whole Syracuse Division.

453.525 is working fine im in Baldwinsville and can hear calls fine

Back in the 60's when I lived near Utica the NYSTA used to do an hourly radio role call of interchanges sequentially. Each interchange would report with temp and road condition. Do they still do that?

Yes it is still done Time and Temperature.

At the top of every hour "Weather, temperature, roll call...Little Falls..." followed by the SP car/zone roll call.

is there any online streaming for the thruway syracuse division I know there is streaming for Buffalo and NY city areas but I cant find anything for the syracuse area, I used to live in Syracuse and listen to Onondaga county sheriff and fire streaming alot as well as oswego now if I could get the Ny thruway syracuse it would be like the old days from living there.
