I am starting to make a list of frequencies for the filming of The Amazing Spiderman 2, here in Rochester, over the next ten days.

I found some channels licensed to Columbia Pictures, but they are just for 35 portable back in CA. I am searching for any temporary licenses they might have gotten. Ideas?

Try the three frequencies licensed for CA. Even though they show use for CA, the license states "...TRAVELS TO UNSPECIFIED LOCATIONS"

One of the three is 451.8125 This is Itinerant. That would be a good start. Any of the Itinerant channels out there.

464.7875/ .9375 might only be used in CA.

Try licenses under Sony Pictures (WQBU264 & WPDP802 as an example) Columbia is owned by Sony Pictures.

Let us know what PL/DPLs you come up with.

Typically the Film/Production company will rent locally. :D

Your Best Bet is to search 450-470, they tend to be Simplex Only as they are used On-Set only, however don't rule out the 456-460/465-470 portion [what might be thought of as Rptr inputs] as they do get used Simplex as well

See if you can walk past the film set, see a radio that way you will know if UHF or VHF to search

I wonder if they will visit his retirement home in Fulton County.

[inside joke, but not too much]

Well, I am up to finding 10 difference Sony Pictures radio licenses. I am trying to complete my research before I go on-scene with a programmed radio.

Ah, police call. They shot some some chase scenes for the upcoming TMNT film at jones beach a few weeks ago. Stalked some V and UHF freqs from security and set medics. They are cache radios, with some additional rentals. In the clear (not encrypted) and analog. I keep the stalker on full time when near Brooklyn. They are shooting a lot of spiderman there as well. Long Island City was also a hot spot when they shot the last Batman movie.

I heard nothing on all these except 152.87 and that was very little, but it was about moving a boom. might have been about spidey or not even related. Also nothing on FRS or MURS, and a few other business freqs. let us know what you hear.

Will be going next week to see filming. Got some help from a friend. Notice the VHF portables.
