Afternoon all. The IRT feed i provide will be taken down most likely by the end of tonight. The listener count is very very low and would like to replace it with something people would want to listen to. I'm open to ideas for a replacement broadcast.

Thanks
Mike

I suggest you stream the NYPD Transit division. You keep the train theme and VHF setup but have a more interesting broadcast.

160.90500 DIV 1 - Manhattan South FM Law Dispatch

160.50000 DIV 2 - Manhattan North/Bronx FM Law Dispatch

160.96500 DIV 3 - Queens/Brooklyn East FM Law Dispatch

160.30500 DIV 4 - Brooklyn West & South FM Law Dispatch

160.695 Citywide

They are generally quieter frequencies than pct divisions. If you were able to scan the 4 divisions on 1 feed, that would be my recommendation. Leave out citywide as it violates the RR TOS.

Leave out citywide as it violates the RR TOS.

Cut & Paste from TOS-

Law Enforcement Feeds
Feed providers agree to ONLY broadcast routine dispatch and special events channels and talkgroups for law enforcement agencies.
I agree to NOT broadcast dedicated tactical, car-to-car, SWAT, narcotics, detectives or any other channels or talkgroups that are not routine dispatch or special events related.

I was kinda wondering about this myself. NYPD Transit Citywide radio traffic seems pretty routine to me.

Citywide PD channels ARE NOT ROUTINE DISPATCH. They are used for warrant checks and tactical communications. SOD is a channel where units are actually dispatched. I cannot speak to FD or EMS, but PD citywides are not used for that purpose. They violate the TOS. This has already been decided by the CEO of RR during the occupy Wall Street movement. This "nonsense" is fact. They are not allowed.

Feel free to read his decision in this thread:

What was so dangerous about the Occupy Wall Street movement to warrant this?

Because. During OWS NYPD was using CW 1 for tactical communications OWS while they where illegally camped out in a park. And OWS was using their smart phones to listen to NYPD CW 1 while NYPD was trying to handle the mess OWS was making.

Everything we do is monitored by the government which is illegal so what's the difference.
