Default JFK aircraft disaster drill

Multi agency drill today (6-3). Many active radio channels. Including newly renamed NYMAC 3 (Queens).
"X-CON" (what does that mean?) on the Port Authority TRS, was also in play and I think, takes it out of the LAG column where it is know.

"X-CON" is a cross connect to another radio frequency. I see that it is the 00-063 that I heard today. Maybe it was connected to NYMAC 3 (Queens) on 482.8125.

The comms were different. X-con was like a command post.

its "Ex-Con", short for Exercise Control. The people that plan and run the exercise. These are personnel from port authority OEM.
