Default Triple Crown

NCPD utilizing TAC-9 at Belmont. The UHF TAC-9! Can't imagine why. But I'm not complaining!

I did see the talk group for the old Tac-2 on the P25 system all day. I also saw another encrypted talk group (2014) that was just as busy, with UID's I have not yet logged on other channels.

I'm just guessing here, but maybe they patched in TAC-9 info the P25 system?

Nice finds Nick. I used to publish a list of frequencies that might help if anyone went to Belmont, but I just didn't have time for that this year. I'll be sure to add that one onto the list for next year.

You would think that since NCPD is so built out with their new system, they wouldn't need to use an old TAC channel. I think they were using it as a parallel channel. Semi-official?
