Default Nassau Villages gone over to the NCPD system?

I have not heard many of the villages lately. Still hearing Lynbrook, Long Beach. NO Hempstead or Rockville Center. Have they gone over to the County system permanently?

The only thing I have heard is MedCom 1 on 6001 , and it's quite active . My scanner will often stop on Long Beach PD and all the NCPD pct's but I have never heard anything . It will stop for a few seconds and be total silence .

The three medcom talk groups are active, with the MEDCOM-1 (6001) being the most active and primary talk group. You will also hear a lot of activity on the NC Fire Marshal talk group.

Everything else is encrypted, which is probably why our scanner stops and is silent.

Long beach is simulcasting on their conventional frequency, and also on the P25 system.
