Erie County Helmuth

For those that don't already know, Helmuth Fire Control In Erie County is no more. The county has closed it and removed all the radio equipment.

Just to clarify, the county did not close the dispatch center. It was closed by the Town of North Collins as the Village and Town opted to move over to a contract with Evans Fire Control for dispatching. This lef tthe Catt. Indian Reservation as the only agency left under Hlemuth and they opted to move over to Evans also.

The same frequency,460.200 will be used for dispatch by Evans. I believe last week they added the tones and radio channel to the console and started dispatching on Tuesday 12/30

No 46.20 is no longer used here and was never used by Helmuth Fire. 460.200 is the correct frequency.
