Broken Antenna Adapter

Hi,

The antenna adapter on both of my RS pro 96s is broken. Anyone in the Rockland County area that is handy and is able to fix it?

If you really mean an adapter, just buy a replacement adapter. If you mean the antenna connector itself, either Uniden or G&G out of New York (you can google them).

Thanks for the response Voyager. Ya I guess I meant connector. Is this the G & G you were talking about?

I guess to be more specific, the BNC connector is loose and I have zero reception. It went from bad to nothing at all. Same issue with both units. One of them is even jiggling around like a loose tooth! I've had both of these unit for years and can't afford to replace them with a new scanner right now.

Given the issue, you might be able to find a local radio shop willing to tighten the connector and reattach the lead (which is likely what happened).
