Again, no reason for you to tell someone their ideas/suggestions/help are no longer necessary. I would think the OP should actually be the one to decide if his post has been answered or not.
Offended? Far from it, so try harder.

Again, what else is there to suggest? The frequency was confirmed.

Well you're getting awfully worked up over it.

Why don't you ask the OP?

I'm really at a loss as to what the problem is. If someone asks for "any suggestions", that seems to me that suggestions would be offered...

I'm not getting worked up over anything, I'm cool as a cucumber bro. This isn't the first time you've had an issue with simple concepts though.

Did you just call me a bra? I'm not an undergarment that holds and support breast.

Mohonk Mountain House is located at 1000 Mountain Rest Road, New Paltz, NY. Mohonk Mountain House is owned by the Smiley Brothers.
This is what I found under "Ulster County New York FCC Licenses"
Mohonk Mountain House New Paltz NY
152.3000 118.PL WSZ457 Power 25 & 40
157.5600 Power 40
Antenna Height 16.8
Structure Height 18.0
Elevation 362

Smiley Brothers Inc. dba Mohonk Mountain House WPXF 966
159.6600 10 & 40 watts
160.0350 10 & 40 watts
160.0800 40 watts
151.6550 M 82.5 PL

I know Alfred Smilely personally.

I have been monitoring 152.300 all day today and there Not using MotoTRBO, they transmit in the clear because there using FM. I live about 15 miles north of New Paltz.

On another note: The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, aka EnCon.
Region 3 Lower Hudson Valley (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester. The Forest Rangers cover the surrounding area of Mohonk as far as patrolling is concerned.
159.2250 KFB846 RM 203.5 PL Police (Sam's Point Tower - Ulster) 100 & 350 watts FMN
159.4350 KFB846 RM 94.8 PL Forest Rangers/ Fire Control (Sam's Point Tower - Ulster) 100 & 350 watts FMN.
Forest Rangers in this region also operate on the State Parks Regions 7 & 8 Repeaters.
Other frequencies to monitor would be:
151.2200 Fire Control/ SAR Operations F1
151.2800 Fire Control/ SAR Operations F2
151.2500 Fire Control Operations F3
151.2650 Fire Control Operations F4

If there is an accident involving a climber on the mountain or Minnewaska State Park numerous agencies would be dispatched to this call. If an emergency occurs at Mohonk, such as a fire, both New Paltz FD and High Falls FD would be dispatched at the same time.

Precisely why I suggested it, thank you.

Hopefully no one gets upset with you for posting that. ; )

Default Mohonk Preserve Ranger Frequency

Why would anyone get annoyed with my posting ? I lived in New Paltz many years ago and was able to monitor a lot of activity.

That's what I was trying to figure out when I suggested the same thing you posted. I assumed you were following the entire thread. I was just giving you a "heads up". ; )

Check back a couple of posts. Someone decided my idea wasn't necessary.

I'm confused, I though the topic was about the Mohonk Preserve, not the privately owned Mohonk Mountain house.

I just visited the Mohonk Preserve today. I had my HT monitoring 154.13 for a few hours during my visit. I heard nothing even when I took the tone off. How often do they use their radios? Do they only use them during accidents or during days when many people visit?
