Difference between the 3 license?
I know there are limitations on the license. Can someone post a link or explain what they are? From what I understand there is all so limits the type of radio you can use.
Thanks.

I always thought of the ham radio licenses like college degrees:
Technician= Associates Degree-- minimal operating priviledges
General=Masters Degree-- some more HF and good stuff
Extra= Doctorate Degree------the most priviledges the big guns
Basically how I looked at it
For the record I have a General class license

What happened to the Bachelor's degree? Shouldn't the Associate's degree be the GMRS license?

Special, can still renew but no one else can get one anymore, until the FCC changes its mind again.
