Default Dual bander

Is there a dual band that will recieve on one band and retransmitt it on another band? Such as you receive a message on 2 meters and it repeats it on 440. I would like to repeat at low wattage what a portable receives on another band.
What popular portables are capable of doing this?

You might want to go to this page and check the description for each HT that is dual band to see which ones do cross-band. I know of some mobiles that do, but I am not certain about portables. Good luck...
