North Korea Nuclear Test

News broke UTC 2013-02-12-0330 that an earthquake was detected in North Korea. A few minutes later the location was identified as an area in which previous underground tests were conducted. The first story I saw was on CNBC: Seismic Activity May Indicate North Korea Nuclear Test. CNN International: Seismic activity reported in area of previous North Korea nuclear tests - CNN.com. I imagine Reuters and the BBC will have the story momentarily,

At 0400 UTC nothing on the Korean Central News Agency KCNA website. Servers at South Korea's Yonhap News http://www.yonhapnews.co.kr/ aren't responding; a traceroute shows their network backbone is out.

That about sums it up, ridgescan. Within a hour RussiaToday (RT), BBC WS TV and France24 on our cable network had aired the story. Guess we'll do the same as before... "pleezeee don't do that again..." Pfft.

Oh great! The little dictator is at it again - showing the rest of the world that he has the "stones" that his father didn't.

Another part of the planet has become a powderkeg and no doubt someone will soon put a match to the fuse.

It's time to bring the troops home from the middle east and prepare to send them to the Pacific rim.

While they have hadf successful detonation test, their missile launches have been disasters. Those damned "made in China" imports have COT (Crashed on Takeoff). The new "Dear Leader" is just showing off for his new wife to offset his inadequacies.

Simply add nuclear weapons to the firearms legislation our Government is proposing. If banning firearms will stop sociopaths from insane acts of violence, making nukes illegal will stop North Korea dead in their tracks.

No... strike that. NK is hell-bent on insane activity, so they won't pay any attention to the illegality of their actions.

Our own sociopathic criminals are different. They'll comply.
