Need AirLink freq out of New Hanover....

Can someone give me the freqs for them please

The only one I could find is 155.235/186.2 PL. It is listed in the NC database under statewide Medevac.

dont think they are useing it anymore. I have not heard then a while.

I found a talk group for them in the database on the New Hanover County trunked system. Talk group number is 50384.

Airlink uses the 155.235 every now and then, if they are beyond range of the New Hanover TRS.

They use theie TG in the TRS most of the time for local stuff now days.

Also, when they are approaching an LZ, they usually contact the local agencies using a local air/ops channel.

Since 06/04, overnight tropo has been pretty decent most nights. I logged the AirLink helo on their VHF channel on 06/04, 06/10 and this morning. I have not heard their flight watch base.

Some of what I have heard is simply interfacility transports, such as to / from UNC Hospitals.

I was hearing them around 2130-220 hrs last night, and heard their base acknowledge. The antenna for the base is on the same tower as the primary NHC trunking site, and the vhf antennas are not very high.

If I'm not mistaken the VHF base for AirLink Ops is a Motorola Quantar. At least that's what it was when I installed it....
