Arrived Saturday afternoon. VHF-High reception has been outstanding.
I have been unable to ID various agencies on the Dare North Dispatch of 155.925.
Seems like most have been within the eastern time zone but I have heard one dispatch with a real southern drawl from the central time zone.

On Dare Ch 5 154.010 I am hearing AnneArundel MD loud and clear.
The EMS freqs of 155.28, 155.34, & 155.4 have almost non-stop traffic from agencies all over the Southeast US.

At one point an unknown agency/jurisdiction blocked Currituck County on their primary dispatch ch.

I am listening from Duck with an Uniden BC 200, I have used various antennas including my mobile setup.

This unpleasant beach weather is making for great listening.

Ducting out that way is a regular thing, which is why the OBX are such a great listening and talking destination. Last night and today have been good 200 miles inland, too. I'm hearing things on NCSHP low band that I haven't heard in a long, long time.
