Major brush fire on Hogback Mountain Rd. in Polk County. They are operating on the Tryon FD channel 155.070/88.5 PL. Mutual aid from Henderson County & Rutherford County in NC and Spartanburg County & Greenville County in SC. Also have NC Forestry and the Red Cross enroute.

They were still working it last night about 3AM until they switched to a simplex channel and I couldn't monitor them anymore.

had a pretty good sized one rolling here in halifax county today to man had cars burning and tires burning
