I think C138 is correct. The county alerts Burlington comm, they, in turn, alert Burlington fire on 800 mhz only.

Very well could be. I live in Wilmington. If it isnt simulcasting, then its one then the other...so the setup is similar, operation is whats different.

I can't receive Orange,Person, or Caswell from where i'm at. Wouldn't Mebane FD be dispatched off of 154.220? I'll do a little recording & see what I come up with, Randy

C138NC and everyone:

I hate to revive this thread, but sometime in the next week or two Ill have an updated list of pagers. I'm already working on compiling a new list.
Some of them have changed since randyk did his measurements.

(Please don't close this thread, as I'm going to have NEW info soon)

In a few more weeks Ill have Graham Fire and most of the ACFD fire department too, hopefully.

Tones are as follows:

Alamance EMS:

102: 368.5-330.5
103: 349.0-539.0
104: N/A
105: N/A
106: 330.5-433.7
107: 330.5-483.5
108: 330.5-457.9
109: 349.0-483.5
110: N/A (I don't believe this unit is even in service anymore, haven't heard them in weeks)
111: 349.0-510.5
114: 349.0-330.5
115: 349.0-368.5
Medic 1: 330.5-349.0
Medic 2: 330.5-368.5
Medic 3: 330.5-389.0

Burlington Fire Department: 651.9-553.9

Alamance County Fire: (The tones in parentheses are inverted tones, which are used during the "secondary" Page on FIRE calls only) (Medical calls use the first set)
Station 1: 321.7-339.6 (339.6-321.7)
Station 3: 321.7-378.6 main station, sometimes paged as 321.7-368.5, (378.6-321.7) (368.5-321.7) That's as much info as I have for Mebane....that I think that is correct.
Station 4: 321.7-399.8 (399.8-321.7)
Station 7: 321.7-470.5 (470.5-321.7)
Station 8: ?????-584.8 (584.8-?????)
Station 9: 539.0-496.8 (496.8-539.0)
Station 13: 399.8-339.6 (That is a Mutual-Aid page for 13, standard pages may be different....)

Hope this helps everyone! I have confirmed all these tones except for station 13's!
Sorry it took me a while to get these compiled, wanted to confirm everything first.

I recorded them, and then used Audacity to find the tones! I then compared them to a Motorola Paging Tone Table to find the nearest ones.

How to use audacity to find the tones is here:
Finding tones with Audacity Guide

A Motorola tone table is here:
http://www.midians.com/pdf/tone_signaling.pdf See "Motorola Quick Call 2 one plus one"

Note that Audacity will only give you the approximate HZ of the tone. When the HZ tone in the analysis is say, 330Hz, that becomes 330.5 after you compare it to the Motorola Chart.
