Anyone around the orange county area know if they switched to the 800Mhz already or are they not active on their VHF channel?

Been tuning in to see if there is anything going on within chapel hill but any orange county residents or rescue members :) help me... just wondering if Orange already migrated into the the VIPER system or they have a new freq. (EMS)

I have the frequency on the DB on my radio but lately i havent heard anything for about 2 days now.

orange co. scanning....

Best i can tell you, much of orange co. has switched to using the viper system, using towers in randolph, alamance, chatham, chapel hill, hillsborough and orange co. north to talk....just check the viper database down near the bottom of the list and the not yet fully fleshed out orange co. trunking tgs are there....

Orange EMS and Orange Sheriff dept. are the only ones that i still hear on the old legacy freq. but also
there is a simulcast for CHFD, Orange fire and Carrboro fire on legacy...
